Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actress and producer. She has been awarded numerous acting awards and is one of the actors with the highest salaries. In addition, she is the brand ambassador of several companies and also has her own clothing line for women which is called Nush. Forbes Magazine featured her. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1 1988 in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh, India to Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. The father of Anushka, who was an ex-colonel, is Anushka. and her mother is a homemaker. Karnesh Sharma is Anushka's older brother. He served in Merchant Navy, and is now a producer of films. Anushka Sharma has completed her education from Army School, Bangalore and has pursued Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka holds a master's degree in studies in economics. Anushka was hoping to be either a model or journalist rather than an actor. Anushka enrolled in Elite Model Management after graduating and underwent training by Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka debuted as a model in 2017 to model for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show in Lakme Fashion Week. He chose her as the finale model of the 2007 Spring/Summer Collection. Anushka, since making her Lakme Fashion Week modelling debut has appeared in campaigns by brands like Fiat Palio Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma along with her modeling career joined an acting school and started giving auditions for films. Anushka was first seen acting in the year 2008 with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. To prepare herself for the screen-test, Anushka Sharma took an entire day. Then, she signed on for three movies with Yash Raj Films. The role she played was that of a younger wedding bride to a middle-aged actor (Shah Rukh Khan) in the movie. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed along with Shahid Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das as well as Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The film received mixed critiques. The same year Anushka Sharma appeared in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat' with Ranveer Singh, in which she played the role of a middle class Punjabi girl who begins her own business of wedding planning. It was a surprise hit with a lot of praise. Anushka's 3-film contract at Yash Raj Films ended with the release of Band Baaja Baaraat.
